Cactus Pryor pauses as he tries to remember how to log on to his computer at his KLBJ office to work on his weekly commentary on November 5, 2007.  Pryor a media icon in Central Texas has worked in the media either radio or television for over 50 years. Cactus Pryor use to be able to sit and write a commentary for KLBJ AM radio in less than half and hour. Now it takes a day and extensive editing.

At Muny, as Lions Municipal Golf Course is affectionately called, Cactus Pryor feels at home. It's a quasi-religious experience to get on the greens and play as many holes as his body allows.
