Forgotten public pay phones in East Austin get reimagined by artists as part of the Pay Phone Revival Project, an artists' initiative. One by Stefanie Distefano is on the side of East 1st Grocery on Cesar Chavez and depicts The Virgin of Guadalupe and Mahatma Gandhi in a vibrant mosaic mural.
